If School has taught me anything it's...

...that I don't particularly enjoy it. I've been doing it for so long that it almost doens't matter completly to me. Take today for instance:

I have a test that I am dreading in Descriptive Astronomy and with my 48 in the class, I have to do well on just about everything just to pass and get credit. Given my history in the class, it's not going to be a walk in the park. Fact of the matter is that I am completly burnt out with these Gen-Ed classes. You are probably saying to yourself, "Mike, welcome to college. You have to take those classes." to which I respond with the following. "I have been in school for 5 years and shouldn't have to take them anymore."

Anyways, so I am probably transferring again. This time to BuffState for graphic design. This will be college number four, five if you count Berklee. I don't think that there is a day that goes by that I don't wish that it was the summer of 2000 and I was living in the heart of Boston going to school and loving every second of it. If I had $23,000, I would be doing it again. For now, I am here, in Buffalo. I guess that I shouldn't complain. I've got some sweet (terrible) friends, a good job, and a band. Aparently, it's been keeping me here for this long.

Speaking of band, Minuet is doing some awesome things in the future. We are playing 2 shows next week, one of which is in Pennsylvania. I love these out of town shows. We are playing the night before in Buffalo and the next night with the same band in their home town. I hope that we can set something sweet up. Maybe drive down the night before and hang out all day before the show. Just a suggestion, but I don't think that we hang out with bands anywhere near as much as we should. On top of that, we are finishing our 4th new song since the release of our full length this summer. We have the home studio in the basement so anytime we want, we can record tracks. It's going to be an awesome record. On top of that, we are going to be featured on an acoustic record. Here's the info taken straight from the source:

"Up next is an all Buffalo acoustic comp. 7" featuring The Failures' Union, La Cacahouette, Lemuria, and Minuet. The comp. will feature an acoustic version of one song by each band. Look for it to be out around March 2005."

In addition to this addition, I will probably be redoing mikeliterman.com. Not only so that it can be done for a project, but just because I want a change. Something brighter and with more content and hopefully more updates. I never get around to updating things, which surprises me that I can get this blog updated.
